For more than twenty years, our clients have trusted us not only with their hair, but with their stories, their families, and many of life's most meaningful moments. That sense of community inspired us to become a proud sponsor of the Gracefully Aging Family Picnic & Jazz Festival.
This festival was created to bring people together for a day of wellness, hope, live jazz, family fun, and meaningful community connections.
Our goal is simple:
To help create a space where families, seniors, caregivers, veterans, and neighbors can pause, breathe, reconnect, and leave feeling encouraged.
Because when our community is stronger, we all grow stronger together.
Become a Volunteer, a smile can change someone's day. Volunteers help welcome guests, assist seniors, support children's activities, direct visitors to community resources, and help create a warm, positive experience for everyone who attends. As a small thank-you, volunteers with locs may be eligible to receive a complimentary hair service from Jamaican Locs & Loc Extensions By Chea following the event. Most importantly, every volunteer will be appreciated, recognized, and remembered. Because no act of kindness goes unnoticed.
